Poetry in Motion is a creative writing experience for all abilities inspired by visiting different locations and focusing on new perspectives. Experienced writers, novice writers, writers living with dementia or mental ill health , and families share the creative event with supportive and friendly facilitators. There is time allocated for people to work on their own or with support. Feedback shows overwhelming appreciation of diversity and increased sense of valuing and surprise.
Autumn 2017 Book your place on a Poetry In Motion workshop about ‘Being Ourselves’ Information: Fun & family friendly. Includes inspirational short walk, discussion, props & prompts, with refreshments. Book at Library or Creativity In Care. Free places available. Donations appreciated £5/£3
Poetry In Motion came out of community projects 2014-15. It was part funded by Highland Adult Learning (High Life Highland) in 2015. The programme restarted in 2016 with grateful support from Foundation Scotland through Sports Relief Community Fund.

Poetry In Motion is about to launch a crowd-funding campaign. Pledges will receive decorated Poetry In Motion creations.
